USO Denver has been given the opportunity to send military kids to 3 different upcoming ProCamps in the Denver area, but there are only 5 spaces in each camp (a total of 15 spots). The only fair way we came up with to place kids in these spaces is by holding a drawing:
THIS IS A REGISTRATION FOR THE DRAWING ONLY.
- Kids eligible to participate must be in grades 1-8 in the current 2018-2019 school year, all genders are welcome.
- Registration for the drawing will be open until Monday, May 6th at 9:30am. The drawing will occur on Monday, May 6th at 10am.
- Each registration will allow a choice of which camp(s) are of interest in and that the child is available to attend if selected. They can only win a spot in 1 camp.
- Registrations will be selected by family if more than one child is registered and fits the criteria of the camps, rather than singling out one child in a family, please list all eligible kids in the registration.
- Winners will be notified by email and will be registered for the event upon confirming receipt and availability to attend. Additional information will be provided by the ProCamps team prior to the event.
- This is not a USO or DOD sponsored event. There will be no cost to the children attending, families/parents are welcome to stay and watch/take photos.
Details about each camp available for the drawing:
- The first camp is for Denver Broncos Linebacker, Von Miller. It will take place June 20th-June 21st at Englewood High School, Englewood, CO 9am-12:30pm (More info https://www.procamps.com/VonMiller)
- The second camp is for Denver Broncos Wide Receiver, Emmanuel Sanders. The camp will take place June 30th- July 1st, 2019 at Thomas Jefferson High School in Denver, Colorado, from 9:00am to 12:00pm. (More info: https://www.procamps.com/EmmanuelSanders)
- The third camp is for Colorado Rockies Pitcher, Kyle Freeland. The camp will take place on July 1st, 2019 at Thomas Jefferson High School in Denver, Colorado, from 4:00pm to 7:30pm. (More info: https://www.procamps.com/KyleFreeland)
Throughout each camp, the Pro and other coaches will offer tips and hands-on instruction, including lectures, fundamental football skills stations, contests, and non-contact games in a high-energy, fun, and positive environment. Campers will be placed in small groups by age to ensure that each child gets maximum instruction. The camp will be staffed by some the area's top high school and college coaches.
The comprehensive camp experience is great for athletes of all skill levels, whether they are new to the game or have been playing for years. Individual and team awards will be given in each age group. We are committed to providing your child with the experience of a lifetime at an affordable price.
Each winner/attendee will receive:
- a souvenir autograph from Emmanuel Sanders (item provided – outside items not permitted)
- a camp team photo with Emmanuel Sanders
- a limited-edition Emmanuel Sanders Football ProCamp adidas t-shirt
