The Denver Broncos, have extended an invitation to bring up to 20 children (ages 8 – 12) of military families with USO Denver to participate in a free Salute to Service PLAY 60 clinic on Tuesday, November 12th. Miles the Mascot, Broncos Cheerleaders and Denver Broncos players or alumni are expected to be on-site to assist with the activity stations! Details are included below, please read through this email in its entirety before registering. (Registration will open 11/5 at 1pm)
Overview: NFL PLAY 60 clinic for children of military personnel as part of Denver Broncos Salute to Service month activities and outreach. NFL PLAY 60 is the National Football League's campaign to encourage kids to be active for 60 minutes a day to make the next generation of youth the most active and healthy.
Location: Pat Bowlen Fieldhouse, 13403 Broncos Parkway, Englewood, CO 80112
Transportation: Each participant will be responsible for their own transportation
Timeline:
5:45 – 6:15 pm Participant registration/check-in
6:15 – 7:30 pm Football skills clinic
7:30 pm Event conclusion
Participants: This clinic is open to military children ages 8 – 12.
Waiver: We will send the required waivers to all registered families. We will need all waivers turned in at the start of the clinic in order for participants to be cleared to participate. Kids will not be able to participate without a waiver.
Autographs: In order to facilitate a meaningful and interactive experience for players and participants, we ask that participants, chaperones and spectators refrain from asking for autographs during the clinic. We appreciate your assistance with this matter.
Attire: All clinic participants in attendance should arrive in comfortable athletic gear. Denver Broncos colors/gear is preferred, but not required!
Spectators: We appreciate your help in limiting the number of spectators with your group as much as possible. All spectators will be asked to remain on the sidelines in a designated roped off area.
Dinner: Each participant will depart from the event with a healthy, boxed dinner to take with them as they depart the clinic. (If there are any food allergies, please note them in the registration as requested)
